Oyster Guys doing oyster stuff
Always something interesting to watch around here. There are numerous oyster "farms" along the Bay most likely owned by Taylor Shellfish. Every few days the oyster boat shows up to the barges and we can see divers going into the water presumably to check on the oysters.
We have our own beach full of oysters and clams and permission from the landlord to harvest some for our personal use. I don't eat oysters...more for Jack.
Jack and I both have trips into the big cities today. Jack to Gig Harbor to pick up glasses, and me to Olympia for an appointment. From our location it takes about 45 minutes to reach Olympia and Gig Harbor. Shelton doesn't have many choices for shopping, and we are still about 25 minutes from Downtown Shelton. Quite a change from the desert where every store imaginable is within 3 miles.
