90 Today

 March 1st already and temperatures are supposed to hit 90 then cool down over the weekend. Watching the flooding in the NW and hoping everyone is staying safe. Send some rain here, we can use it to produce those wildflowers in the desert. Good news... I can smell the orange blossoms which means maybe my sense of smell is returning.

A two-year pandemic, half of it in quarantine, and now a war in Europe waged by a dictator who’s gone off the deep end. A weak American President who seems to be one step behind in decision making. Add a nuclear threat by Putin and we have reason to be on edge. Still.

Gave the kitties a paper mache bird and they ripped it to pieces. Watching them play together and relax for naps on the patio furniture tells us they feel comfortable and safe here.
