New Stuff in the Desert

For those of you who don't know, The Living Desert has two Rhinos in a new exhibit! I'll be going back to the Petting Kraal on Saturdays 8-11. Yes, you will see pictures of goats. Check out the link below and see what is happening.

Our country club has a new restaurant called "It's a Wrap"

Chicken Caesar, Sashimi, Smoked Turkey wraps as well as Friday night specials offering Tri Tip and Chicken Picatta, So far Jack and I have been pleased with their food. They've applied for their liquor license. Maybe they'll offer poolside service. There is nothing better than having a restaurant with good food that's an easy trip via golf cart.

The  Ivey Ranch Board of Directors and HOA have made a decision not to re seed the golf course this year. The price of seed has gone up to a ridiculous level and although the course will be open, there will be some changes. We'll see how it goes.

We've been back for a week now, getting things unpacked and put in the proper place. All the appliances, A/C and sprinkler system work. That's always good news.
